The Ice Breaker

Today I did my Ice Breaker speech at the Toastmasters. It was the very first prepared speech I made at the club. The Ice Breaker, which has a duration of 4-6 minutes is supposed to be an introduction about yourself. I found it difficult to speak about all aspects of my life in such a short period. So I focused on my career as a Chess player. Through this topic I explained my childhood dreams and how the game affected my life. I receved excellent feedback from fellow toastmasters and based on feedback I think it was beyond their expectations.

I enjoyed speakin myself and now I am looking forward to making my second speech in the Competent Communicator series.
